WHO WE ARE

Chapter Four Institute constitutional defender dedicated to upholding the Kenyan Constitution 2010. Recognizing the immense political, social, and economic struggles that led to its implementation, the Institute strives to ensure that the Constitution’s vision is realized. By equipping communities, organizations, government officials, and other stakeholders with the necessary skills, the Institute empowers them to play their roles in preserving the heart of the Constitution.

History

Driven by this belief, our founder Njeri Kabeberi saw a critical need to bridge the gap in equipping individuals for the fight for social justice. Her own experience in formulating Kenya's Bill of Rights and her deep understanding of the UN's 16th Sustainable Development Goal; Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, fueled her passion to empower others to become active changemakers.

Vision

We envision a world where human rights champions thrive. We see a future where individuals from all walks of life are equipped to advocate for themselves, their communities, and a more just world.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. "

Nelson Mandela
