Mr. Kimani Sankara

Mr. Kimani Sankara Nguyai is an accomplished business entrepreneur with a solid academic foundation, holding a BSc in Business Management Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Environmental Management. He is currently advancing his expertise by pursuing a Masters in Environmental Management at the University of Nairobi, which complements his practical experience in organizational and project management.

As the Chief Operating Officer at Chapter Four Programs & Projects Ltd since 2019, Kimani has demonstrated his commitment to effective leadership and strategic thinking. He is also consulting for Salemgrid Africa, a startup internet distribution company in Kenya, where he applies his knowledge in organizational development and operational efficiency. His project management expertise is evidenced by his successful oversight of several civil works projects, including managing the construction of 63 low-income housing units in Kinoo, Nairobi County (2017-2020) and overseeing road works in Lolgorian town, Narok County in 2022.

Mr. Nguyai’s previous experience includes a significant role in corporate marketing at Standard Media Group, one of Kenya’s leading media houses, where he developed skills in branding and stakeholder engagement from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, he contributed to the resource politics discourse as a researcher in the Ecological Department at the Heinrich Boell Stiftung (Nairobi) from 2014 to 2015, earning recognition for his contributions to impactful resource management discussions.
